Install the iOS app
Download xVPN from the App Store. The store uses the Apple ID already present on the device, but xVPN does not add a separate registration form.
The ordinary xVPN onboarding and connection flow does not ask for your name, email address, or an xVPN password. You do not need to verify an inbox before choosing a server route.
A traditional login links activity in a product to a reusable profile. Removing that step means there is no separate xVPN credential to remember, reset, expose in a breach, or reuse accidentally on another service. It also means starting a private connection takes fewer steps on a new iPhone or iPad.
The absence of an xVPN account does not remove Apple from the download or purchase process. The App Store operates under the Apple ID signed in on the device. If you buy a subscription, Apple handles the transaction and the subscription system verifies entitlement so the app can recognize access and restore purchases.
Account-free also does not mean “zero data everywhere.” VPN infrastructure must receive network packets to deliver them, an ISP still knows it is providing your internet connection, and a website can recognize its own signed-in account. The meaningful claim is narrower: xVPN does not require a separate email-and-password account to establish the normal VPN connection.
A subscription can still work without an xVPN login because purchase entitlement and product identity are different from a named user profile. Apple records the App Store transaction under its systems, while the app checks whether the device or anonymous app-user identifier has access to the purchased product. Restoring a purchase relies on the Apple ID that completed it, not on an xVPN password.
Support also needs a way to investigate a specific technical or subscription problem. xVPN may ask for the anonymous support identifier displayed by the app so the team can locate the relevant operational record. That identifier is not an invitation to send passwords, private keys, browsing history, or unrelated personal data. Share only what the support request actually requires.

Open xVPN and approve the standard iOS VPN permission. This lets the app create and manage the encrypted tunnel on the device.
Select a country route or another available location, tap connect, and wait for xVPN to display the active connection state.
A VPN without account is useful when you want to minimize registration steps and avoid creating another reusable login. It is not a synonym for invisibility. xVPN encrypts traffic between the device and VPN endpoint and changes the public exit IP seen by destinations, while HTTPS continues to protect the application connection beyond that endpoint.
Websites can still know who you are when you sign in. They may also use cookies, device characteristics, payment details, browser storage, or location permission. An iPhone can expose precise GPS to an app even while internet traffic leaves through a VPN server in another country. Review permissions separately and do not expect an IP change to rewrite every location signal.
xVPN states that it does not log browsing history, DNS queries, traffic contents, or destination addresses. The Privacy Policy describes operational, diagnostic, purchase, consent, attribution, and support data more completely. Reading that document is more reliable than treating “no signup” as a promise that no system processes anything.
Public Wi-Fi remains another reason to encrypt the local route. Confirm the café, hotel, airport, or campus network name, finish any captive-portal login, connect xVPN, and check that the app shows an active tunnel. A VPN reduces what the local network can read from traffic; it does not make a fraudulent hotspot trustworthy or replace HTTPS and strong account security.
Does the provider require an email, phone number, social login, or separate password before the first connection?
How are subscriptions purchased and restored, and which app store or payment processor retains transaction records?
Does the privacy policy distinguish browsing traffic from operational, diagnostic, security, and support data?
Can you choose the country route you need, and can you compare another location when latency or congestion changes?
Which VPN, tracking, notification, analytics, and precise-location permissions does the app request, and when?
Does the provider explain that a VPN changes network routing but not GPS, cookies, account country, or every third-party rule?
Yes. The normal xVPN setup and connection flow does not ask you to create a profile with an email address and password. Download the app, allow the iOS VPN configuration, choose a route, and connect.
No. Account-free setup reduces profile and login data, but networks still process technical information to deliver traffic. Apple and subscription infrastructure also process purchase or entitlement information under their own terms. The xVPN Privacy Policy explains the current categories and controls.
No. A VPN encrypts the route to its endpoint and changes the public exit IP, but websites can still recognize signed-in accounts, cookies, GPS permission, payment details, browser characteristics, or other signals. No-account setup should not be described as universal anonymity.
The standard xVPN connection flow does not require an email address. An Apple ID is still used by the App Store to download the app and manage any subscription purchase under Apple's systems.
No-account setup and price are separate questions. xVPN does not currently offer a free trial. Weekly, monthly, and yearly subscriptions include the available VPN locations and unlimited bandwidth; Apple manages the applicable purchase, cancellation, and refund terms.
Use the restore-purchase option associated with the Apple ID that completed the App Store transaction. Apple and the subscription-entitlement provider verify the purchase without requiring a separate xVPN email-and-password account.
Install the iOS app, choose a VPN location, and connect without creating a separate email-and-password profile.
